USAgencies provides low-cost auto insurance online as well as through community-based brokers.

The Challenge

USAgencies was closing policy sales on over two-thirds of prospects who requested and received a quote online. To boost the number of quotes provided, they enlisted FlyDesign to create a more user-friendly online form and reduce form abandonment.

We designed simple, bold icons and created an attractive, engaging interface.

A Personal Experience

Price is only one factor in an auto insurance purchase. People also make decisions based on the experience. We made the USAgencies process highly personalized so that the further along potential customers get, the more engaging it becomes.

Easy, Interactive Design

We made the policy forms graphically simpler and intuitive. The functionality was enhanced so that users could review their form at any step in the process and easily see where they were. Dynamic error detection was also introduced to clearly display error messages and tell the user how to correct the error.

The End Result

The improvements have increased USAgencies’ brand awareness, consumer engagement, quote volume and—most important—customers. Traffic on the site increased by 20%, and form completion went up 26%.
